Will's the hero as Greens win cup

Will Viner was the hero last night as Hendon won the London Senior Cup for the first time in 40 years following a penalty shoot-out against Croydon Athletic at Kingsmeadow.

Record entry for Snowball Draw

The April snowball draw, which was made by Lee O'Leary and his girlfriend, saw a record entry of 163 balls.

Busby wins the double

Following todays game, around 100 people attended the end of season celebration in the clubhouse at Vale Farm.

Arsenal shirt auction result

The Arsenal shirt auction that was held this afternoon raised £275 for Lee O'Leary.

Burgess scores again

Despite going down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Carshalton Athletic this afternoon, Hendon put in a decent performance, and were rewarded for their efforts in stoppage time when James Burgess scored his second goal of the season from close range.

The supporters trust would be very grateful if all outstanding sponsor monies for the sponsored walk, Paul & Jacqui's 500 mile walk, and Phil Rogers running the London Marathon are paid either on Saturday, Wednesday at AFC Wimbledon or next Friday at the supporters game.

Maclaren screamer secures safety

A stoppage time screamer of a goal from Kevin Maclaren, his first for the club, ensured Premier Division safety for Hendon as they beat Horsham 3-1.

One Point Still Needed

Hendon still require a point to make certain of safety (due to the superior goal difference) after they lost 2-1 at Hastings United.
