Middlesex cup dream over

The dream of regaining the Middlesex Senior Cup is over for another year after the Greens lost 2-1 at Northwood after extra time.

Defender signs on loan

The club have confirmed this evening that Marc Leach has returned to the club on loan from Yeading with immediate effect as a replacement for the now departed Steve Good.

Youth team round up

It was a good weekend for our youth teams as all three continued their recent good run of results.

Good recalled from loan

The club regret to announce that defender Steve Good has been recalled from his loan spell by Braintree Town as the Iron picked up a number of injuries at the weekend.

Reserves in action this week

The reserves are in action on Wednesday evening when they travel to Berkhamsted Town in a Capital League fixture.

Greens featured on FA website

The club has been featured on the FA website this week, focusing on the future of the club and the formation of the supporters trust in an interview with our vice-chairman David Bedford.

Frendo to move on

48 hours after John Frendo's return from loan, the club received an official approach from Ware FC asking for John to return to Wodson Park on a permanent basis.

Defences on top in goalless draw

On a very cold, frosty evening, Hendon and East Thurrock United played out a goalless draw.

Early goal enough for Swifts

A Sean Marks goal in the fourth minute turned out to be enough for Heybridge Swifts to return to Essex this afternoon with all three points.

Hunter's stay was a short one

Jermaine Hunter has been released by the club today after just two games for the Greens and has signed for Braintree Town.

Trust planning sponsored walk

As part of their fundraising efforts, the Supporters Trust are planning to run a sponsored walk on Saturday March 11th from Claremont Road to Earlsmead, home of Harrow Borough.

Reserve game postponed

Tonight's reserve game at home to Harrow Borough has been postponed to protect the pitch ahead of the first team game against Heybridge Swifts on Saturday afternoon.

Frendo on fire for Greens

John Frendo returned from his loan spell at Ware in style as he hit four goals in Hendon's 7-0 victory over Redbridge, the clubs biggest win since September 1997 when Staines Town were beaten 8-1 in the League Cup.

Youth team round up

It was a mixed weekend for our two Sunday youth teams.

Trust given go ahead

71 people attended the Supporters Trust meeting before the game today voting almost unanimously, there was one abstention, to provide the steering group with a mandate to go ahead with the formation of a supporters trust.

Hendon threw away three points this afternoon as they lost 2-1 to Braintree Town.

Hudell leaves as Hunter signs

Ben Hudell left the club this week as his loan spell from Yeading came to an end, but yesterday morning Jermaine Hunter signed for the club.

The messageboard has been upgraded overnight and as a result anyone who has the board bookmarked in their favourites will need to change their bookmark as the URL has changed.

Disappointing start to year for Greens

Greens win team award

The Isthmian League have announced this morning that the Greens have won the December GX Soccer Team Performance of the Month award for the victory at AFC Wimbledon in the Westview Cup shortly before Christmas.

Chelmsford back home

As many supporters are no doubt aware, Chelmsford City have moved back to their home town and will be playing their first home game at Melbourne Park tomorrow afternoon against their former landlords Billericay Town.

Good loan extended

Both Hendon and Braintree Town have confirmed that the loan deal for Steve Good has been extended for a second month, meaning that the popular central defender will be with the Greens until the end of January.
