Hendon won at Southend Manor in todays FA Cup game, but the victory was far from comfortable.

Yesterday morning, the Under 16's had an easy 10-1 win over Springfield, a scoreline which could have been considerably more, while the Under 14's had a vastly improved performance and came away with a point after their 1-1 draw with Parkfield.

Hendon's inexperience showed once again today as they lost their third match in succession going down 3-1 to Basingstoke Town.

The reserves winning run ended today following their 1-0 defeat at Whyteleafe.

Following the rumours on the messageboard regarding the possibility of Dale Binns joining Southend United, the website team have spoken to the club today and although there has been interest from a number of clubs and scouts have been present at games this season, there have been no approaches regarding Dale from any clubs.

The reserves earnt their second win in succession on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 win over Oxford City, while on Sunday, the Under 15's beat Hampstead 10-2, and the Under 14's lost 5-0 at Northwood.
