Hendon's run of five consecutive defeats ended this evening as the Greens set about defeating a lacklustre Kingstonian side at the LOOT stadium. However, it took 67 minutes till Hendon took the lead, with Ruggles scoring with a header in only his second game for the club, having had an earlier goal dissalowed. Hendon continued to look for further goals, and got their second just before full-time, with good build-up play leading up to a typical shot from Binns out of the blue. Hook failed to be particularly troubled throughout the game by Kingstonian, and Hendon were glad to finally gain another three points.
