Tomorrow afternoon, the Greens make the trip to The Meadow, Amy Lane to take on Chesham United, kick-off 3.00 pm. The Generals were held to a goalless draw by Division One South Walton & Hersham in the FA Trophy last Saturday a rare blank given that there have been 71 goals in Chesham's 21 Ryman League matches so far this season. They then went on to win the replay at Stompond Lane 1-0 on Tuesday evening. They lie 14th in the table with 24 points, thanks to 6 wins and 6 draws, but their defence has the second-worst goals-against record (41) in the division. Last season both teams won their away League encounter, Steve Forbes scoring in both the 2-1 loss at Claremont Road and, with Martin Randall, in the 2-0 win at The Meadow. Our travelling support has been excellent in recent weeks, lets hope that we can have a big noisy support once again, it is greatly appreciated by the players.
The reserves are due to be in action in the Second Round of the Suburban League Cup as they travel to Hanwell Town. Kick off at Hanwell is 3.00pm.
