Hendon left The Meadow this afternoon disappointed to only leave Chesham with a single point, the only sticking point for the Greens' being their poor finishing. Hendon without doubt had the lions share of the chances in the game, although it took until the 45th minute for Martin Randall to break the deadlock in Hendon's favour. Forbes played the ball into Randall from the right, only to see the striker's first attempt well saved by Delroy Preddie. However, Randall was first to the rebound and slammed it into the back of the net, much to Preddie's dismay. However, Chesham equalised in the 56th minute, Dwayne Clarke playing in a cross-cum-shot from the left wing which snuck just inside the far post. Hendon then laid seige on Chesham's goal for most of the remaining half hour, but failed to convert any of the chances, shots either going high, wide, or being saved by Preddie.
