The Greens had reached the final a day earlier with a 3-1 victory over Hemel Hempstead Town
In the semi-final, against a Hemel Hempstead team containing half a dozen first team squad members, Hendon took a 2–0 lead into the dressing rooms at half-time.
Niko Muir scored twice in a minute, the first a penalty after 28 minutes – which came after superb interplay between Andre Da Costa, Muir and Kezie Ibe, who was unceremoniously brought down. A minute later Muir got his second, this one a one-on-one finish after he broke clear of the defence.
The Tudors pulled a goal back through a triallist after 58 minutes, though Hendon defenders were certain he was offside when he applied the decisive touch. The game remained in the balance for the next 20 minutes, but the Greens made the game safe with 12 minutes to go when Tarum Dawkins scored to make it 3–1.
