The London Senior Cup tie with Page Green Old Boys resulted in a win for the latter by 3 goals to 0. It is poor consolidation to know that Hampstead had the better of the game when the other side got the goals, but that is a correct report of the match.

Hampstead could do everything but score, and the Old Boys' defence is to be congratulated on withstanding the heavy pressure put upon it for nine-tenths of the game.

All the Page Green goals were scored from breakaways. A magnificent shot was put in by Pennifer for the Town which one of the Page Green backs deliberately punched out. Unfortunately Pennifer shot over the bar with the resultant penalty.

Hampstead are meeting with very gratifying support at their new ground and all the games played there so far have proved exciting and enjoyable.
