Owing to the suspension of the Kent League, Millwall Reserves are without a fixed programme and the directors are arranging a series of friendly matches with local amateur clubs.
Thus, Hampstead Town were visited on Saturday and a rousing game, in which the fortunes of the contestants were continually fluctuating, was the outcome. In all, ten goals were scored, and of the six claimed by Millwall two accrued from penalty kicks.
Twice in the first half Hampstead took the lead. O'Hara being well beaten each time by Humphreys and Garlick. Garrett (penalty) and Peek were Millwall's marksmen, their other goal in that half being put through by Hampstead's left-back.
Porter converted the second penalty kick for Millwall soon after change of ends, and Nuttall scored the fifth goal for his side. Humphreys responded for the Town, only to see Nuttall get through again, and a high scoring match ended with Poltock registering Hampstead's fourth goal.
