Summerstown and Hampstead Town drew their Athenian League match at Earlsfield, each side scoring once.

Hampstead opened the scoring early on through Poltock, at a period when Summerstown were minus the services of S.T. Head (injured).

The visitors, whose play was repeatedly applauded, held the lead till well on in the game, when a clever piece of work by Miller resulted in that player equalising.
