Last Saturday, at the Avenue Ground, Child's Hill, Hampstead Town were defeated by Watford in a friendly encounter by 3 goals to 2.
Tomorrow (Saturdaay) one of the deciding matches for the Athenian League Championship will be played, Hampstead Town entertaining the redoubtable Luton Clarence. The two clubsd have been running neck and neck for some time past, and the result of this encounter will have an important bearing on the final destination of the cup. Kick off, 3.30. Hampstead will be represented by:- T.W. Ballard; S. Dunstone, H.H. Allwright; J.H. Parker, W. Francis, H. Woodward; A.E. Mallett, F.A. Yates, G.F. Blackburn, F.L. Burrage, J.P. Croal. In connection with this match Hampstead Town are making a big effort on behalf of St. Dunstan's, Regents Park, and the band of the Hampstead Naval Brigade will be in attendance.
