Hampstead Town entertained the reserve side of Millwall F.C. on Saturday in a friendly encounter, and lost a keen and interesting game by 1 goal to 0. Millwall's winning point was scored within a minute of the start by R. Noble. Subsequently Hampstead scores from a penalty takem by A.E. Mallett, but the point was disallowed by the referee. Blackburn, operating at centre half, played excellently.
Hampstead Town lent their ground for a match on Thursday, between Hampstead Police and Hampstead Postmen, in aid of the funds of the Hampstead General Hospital. Mr. Chas. Farrar, President of Hampstead Town, provided a set of medals for the winners.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Hampstead Town visit Cheshunt in the Athenian League.
