Hampstead [Town] carried too many guns for Uxbridge in their Athenian League encounter on the latter's ground last Saturday, winning comfortably by 4 goals to 0. G.F. Blackburn returned to his best form and scored a trio of goals, A.E. Mallett notching the other. Lawrence and Templeman {Templar?} were prominent players for Uxbridge, who are making praiseworthy efforts to strengthen their side. F.L. Burrage and H.H. Allwright, who have been out of the Hampstead team for some weeks with minor injuries, will soon be fit again, and will stengthen the side for forthcoming strenuous games. H.T. Caves has proved an admirable deputy at left back in H.H. Allwright's absence, and H.J. Dale is giving entire satisfaction in goal.
