The Town suffered a somewhat heavy reverse in their first Athenian League match at Bromley on Saturday, the home team being successful by a margin of 5 goals to 2. Whilst Bromley were admittedly entitled to the two points on the day's play, a closer score would have better indicated the run of the game. Bromley, whose first game it was, seem to possess a well-balanced side, and their forwards were a constant source of anxiety to the Hampstead defence.

Tomorrow (Saturday) the Town are at home to Barnet in the Athenian League.
