New Partnership with Limitless Football Academy

We are delighted to be able to announce a new partnership with Limitless Football Academy who will be working under the Hendon FC name at Silver Jubilee Park next season.

The 27th April sees the goal-fests of the last couple of days consigned to the dustbin as today’s 27 matches see goals scored at a rate of less than 2.

(Not) On This Day: 26th April

The 26th April sees a rather more timid round-up with ten matches fewer than yesterday’s review, just the 25 matches on the menu today but plenty of goals to report.

(Not) On This Day: 25th April

The 25th April has seen much more in the way of action over the years than any other day we’ve covered so far with more matches and more goals.

The winner of the MyJobQuote tool kit competition advertised on Greensnet last month has been announced with Tim Scheutz, a plumbing and heating contractor from Cambridge, taking home £250 worth of tools and equipment.

Social Media Boycott

You may be aware that this coming weekend sees the English football family coming together to boycott social media in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory abuse received online by players and many others connected to football.

Breathlessly we move our look back over football matches that the club have played onto 21st April, a day on which we’ve played competitively on 27 occasions and where judging by results, there were more than a few tired limbs at play.

The 15th April has been a day of mixed fortunes in the history of Hendon Football Club with no fewer than 27 matches having been played on this day over the years.

Moving on to 14th April and a day which, in spite of providing us with no fewer than five goalless games, has also given supporters plenty of thrills and spills over the years.

We find ourselves finally back on track and up to speed as we turn our attention to 13th April and begin in 1914 with a Middlesex League match against 2nd Battalion Scots Guards.

We move into the 2nd week of April with our ‘on this day’ feature moving onto 8th April, a day on which goals have been at a relative premium compared to recent days in spite of a monumental win and a high-scoring defeat.

Life remains busy behind the scenes at Silver Jubilee Park with early preparations beginning ahead of the 2021/22 season with three new additions to the backroom team.

Lee Allinson has moved quickly to fill the vacancy in his coaching team left by the departure of Eddie McLoughlin by appointing Cameron Mawer as the club's new assistant manager.
