We have heard yesterday evening from Alan Messenger (one of our Isle of Wight-based supporters) that his mother, Brenda Messenger (nee Webb) has passed away.

Our older supporters will remember Brenda, the youngest daughter of Ernie Webb who was a lifelong Hendon supporter and Supporters Club helper. Brenda used to go to every home game at Claremont Road with her parents until she married and moved to the Isle of Wight.

Alan still travels up to see as many games as he can with his friends from the Island, both home and away, to keep the family tradition going. The club sends our condolences to Alan and his family at this sad time.
