Before the main event this afternoon, Hendon's Supporters played their second game of the season, facing Harlow's fans in a rematch after last season's 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Hawks. The game was largely fought on the basis of defence, with neither side managing to break the deadlock over 90 minutes. For the Greens, captain Simon Lawrence came closest with a drive from outside the area not quite dipping far enough and crashing back off the bar late in the second half. Both teams agreed to a penalty shoot-out as a decider, Harlow winning 4-3 despite Andrew Vincent pulling off an excellent stop for the Hawk's second effort.
