Tomorrow sees our final Monday Night Football of the season as we have the slightly odd experience entertaining our landlords Harrow Borough on their own ground.
Harrow, who of course are managed by a very familiar face in Dave Anderson, have had a disappointing season, but should have enough points on the board to ensure their Premier Division status for another season despite their 2-1 defeat to AFC Hornchurch on Saturday afternoon at Earlsmead. It was their first home defeat since Boxing Day - a run of nine games.
They currently lie in 18th place with 49 points from 42 games, and are 10 points ahead of East Thurrock United who lie in the final relegation spot. The maximum points tally that East Thurrock can get is 51.
The reverse fixture took place way back in September, when Jefferson Louis scored twice in the opening five minutes, before Simeon Akinola pulled a goal back for Harrow midway through the second half, but Tony Taggart secured the points with his first touch after coming on as a very late substitute.
Gary McCann takes the squad into the game knowing that only a win will keep alive any lingering play off hopes, and even then it will need clubs above to drop points later in the week and over the Easter Weekend.
Kick off at Earlsmead is at 7.45pm, and our usual admission prices of £10 adults, £5 concessions and free for under 16s will apply. Programmes will be available as normal priced at £2.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there tomorrow evening.
