Hendon were left rueing a saved penalty as they drew 0-0 at Canvey Island, a result that leaves them eight points off the play-offs with four to play.

The penalty came in the 78th minute, but Anthony Thomas's spot kick was easily saved by man of the match Gines Guzman Rosique. The Greens then had a further chance to score a winner but Dave Diedhiou's header went over the bar, whilst in the dying moments, John Sands saw his effort fly over the bar from 10 yards.
