We are delighted to announce that former Chelsea and Leeds United defender Michael Duberry has signed for the club in time to be part of the squad tomorrow afternoon.
The 37 year old former England U21 defender has been a part of the squad throughout pre-season, and was with Oxford United last season.
He began his career at Chelsea, making his debut in the 1993-94 season. Whilst at Stamford Bridge he won the League Cup, Cup Winners' Cup and European Super Cup.
In 1999 he moved on to Leeds United for £4.5 million and played in their 1-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League. In 2005 he moved on to Stoke City, and has since had spells at Reading, Wycombe Wanderers and St Johnstone before signing for Oxford in 2011.
We are delighted that Michael has agreed to join the squad for the new season, and hope that he enjoys his time with us.
