Our long-awaited start to the season is nearly upon us, and we will begin our 51st season in the Isthmian League with a trip to Thamesmead Town tomorrow.
Our opponents will be facing their first season at this level of football, having progressed through the play-offs from Division One North at the end of last season.
We have played them just once before, that coming in a London Senior Cup quarter final in March 2011 when we won 2-0 courtesy of goals from Jamie Busby and Dave Diedhiou.
The Greens will go into the game keen to build on the excellent second half of the last campaign, and having had a largely positive pre-season, the squad does seem to be gelling well.
Kick off at Bayliss Avenue tomorrow afternoon is at 3.00pm, and directions to the ground can be found on the directions pages.
Admission is £10 adults, £5 concessions & students, £2 for those aged 11-16, and accompanied youngsters under 11 are admitted free.
