The first team start a run of three league games tomorrow afternoon as they entertain Heybridge Swifts at Claremont Road, the fourth meeting between the two clubs this season. In the previous meetings, Hendon won the league encounter 4-0 at Scraley Road, thanks to goals from Eugene Ofori, Rob Haworth, Steve Forbes and Martin Randall, and taking an FA Trophy tie 2-1 (Ricci Crace and Keiran Gallagher scoring) at Claremont Road after a 0-0 away draw. Last season, Hendon won 6-1 at Scraley Road (Randall 3, Byron Bubb, Ofori and Crace the marksmen) in March after a Phil Ruggles goal had given Hendon a 1-0 home win in September. Heybridge currently lie 22nd in the table following their 4-0 home defeat to Aldershot Town last weekend, and have collected 26 points from their 28 games. Meanwhile, the reserves travel to Metropolitan Police in a bid to gain another win in their battle against relegation.
