In a dour game on a firm pitch the Greens were held to a goalless draw by Heybridge Swifts. In a game of few clear cut chances, Hendon were unable to break down a hardworking Heybridge defence, and equally the Heybridge attacks were dealt with comfortably by the Hendon back four. The best chances for Hendon fell to Mark Cooper, who saw a shot from the edge of the area go just wide, and Jon-Barrie Bates, who saw his fierce drive fly just over the bar. However, despite dropping two points, the Greens moved two places up the table into 4th place.
