In a thoroughly entertaining game tonight, the reserve team drew 3-3 with Staines Town. The visitors ran into a two goal lead inside 7 minutes before Sam Byfield pulled a goal back a minute later. Staines scored a third in the 15th minute only for Ricci Crace to fire home a free kick three minutes later. That was the last goal until the 63rd minute when Crace scored his second goal of the evening, and his fourth in two days, when he hooked home a loose ball. Hendon created the better chances in the second half, and but for the performance of Staines keeper Paul McCarthy could well have scored more. The full line up was: Luke Thornton, Joe Cowan, Mehmet Unal, Mark Burgess, Greg Joseph, Scott Cousins (René James-Barriteau 74), Gary Meakins, Dave Hunt, Rob Haworth, Ricci Crace (Lee Johnson 64), Sam Byfield. Unused subs: Simon Huggett, Dean Lenihan, Andy Hutchinson
