Hendon ran out comfortable winners at Basingstoke Town's Camrose ground tonight, despite going into half time one goal down. The Hampshire side's goal came through Craig McCallister, who was on hand to finish off a fast paced attack down the right wing. Although Basingstoke had the better of the first half, the Greens were certainly not without their chances, and then took control of the second.
Despite the improvement in performance, however, it wasn't until the 67th minute that the Greens broke back, Ofori sliding the ball under Scott Tarr. The second came 10 minutes later, when Tarr came for a cross on the edge of his area, failed to connect well with his punch, with the ball dropping to Scott Cousins who slid the ball across to Ofori for his second. Ricci Crace scored the third just three minutes later, Ofori turning provider, and also finished off the scoring with the fourth, taken from the edge of the area after a James Burgess cross eluded the defence.
