The Greens returned to winning ways this afternoon at Maidenhead United, with Eugene Ofori scoring the only goal of the game in the 70th minute when he broke clear of a very frustrating offside trap and slid the ball under the Maidenhead goalkeeper to win the game. Hendon were boosted by the return of Jon-Barrie Bates to the midfield and he led by example and added some much needed bite to midfield. Maidenhead only tested Dave King twice, in both cases the Hendon goalkeeper making good saves. Bad news however is that Ricci Crace left the field injured early in the first half with a hamstring injury.
