Barking were the visitors to the Avenue ground, Cricklewood Lane, last Saturday, in the London League, and were defeated by three goals to none.

The weather prevailing made good football impossible, and the few spectators who braved the elements were as much to be pitied as the players.

H Pennifer scored for the Town in the first half, and further goals were added towards the close of the game by V Hough and G Marchant.
