Golders Green said good-bye for the season to the Middlesex Senior Cup, when at Pinner on the previous Saturday [December 19] they were beaten 3-1.
The ground was a quagmire, and the Green, unable to spoil their hosts' record - Pinner have yet to be beaten this season - did as well as could be expected.
In the first half neither side scored. After the interval Phillips eluded Fisher and put the ball inside, and Gadsden scored with a fine shot. Soon afterwards Williamson put the issue beyond doubt. Yates and Stroud changed places, and from a pass by Haskow, Stroud scored a fine goal.
