Golders Green F.C. and Tufnell Park share the Will Mather (Manor House Hospital) Cup as a result of the match played on the Golders Green ground on Wednesday evening, the result being a draw of one-all after extra-time.
Golders Green should have won by the chances they had, but it was a good game between two well-matched teams, both affected by changes.
Cochrane netted beautifully off Coleman in the first half, but the referee gave offside. Before the interval Stroud put matters right, following up to drive in after a free-kick by Breagan had been partially cleared.
Tufnell Park equalised in the second half, Walds, on the right wing, bringing off a great solo effort.
Extra time produced plenty of excitement, but no goals, though F. Boston and Cochrane went very near.
