On Good Friday, Hampstead entertained Queen's Park Rangers, and after a very enjoyable game were defeated by the odd goal of five.
After fifteen minutes' play, following a hard drive from Morton which hit the crossbar, Evans headed through from the rebound to give Hampstead the lead. Stevenson, however, soon equalised following a good individual run, and then Wiles gave the Rangers the lead.
Five minutes from the interval Hampstead were awarded a penalty for a foul on Potter, and from the spot kick Dean equalised the scores.
After the interval both teams fought hard for the lead and fifteen minutes from time Hoten headed through following a corner to score the winning goal for the Rangers.
