Two useful London League points resulted from the visit to Wood Green Town on Saturday, the score being 2-0 in Hampstead's favour.

H Pennifer who, as usual, played an effective game at centre-forward, opened the score with a grand shot which Knights was powerless to save.

In the second moiety, from a corner-kick well placed by G Garlick, A Tomkins increased Hampstead's lead. H Knights in goal for Wood Green was the most prominent player on their side, while Hampstead's defence, as the score indicates, was very safe.
