The Town opened their Middlesex League programme in fine style with a victory over Walthamstow Grange on their own ground by 3 goals to 0.

G Garlick at outside left scored twice in the first half, and in the closing stages J Pennifer put on a further goal. Harry Ashman (late of Kilburn), at centre-half, and H Caves at left-back were capable substitutes for the Town's captain and vice-captain - W Denham and E Hudson - who were absent on this occasion.
