For the second time this season Hampstead Town removed Polytechnic F.C. from a cup competition, and easily won their London Senior tie by five goals to two. The visitors fielded a strong eleven, and played a plucky game, but could not hold the nippy Hampstead forwards. C. Wise, the Amateur International, scored three remarkably good goals, the first a long dropping shot, the second a brilliant header from a perfect centre by A.E. Mallett, and the third a characteristic hard low drive. F.L. Burrage and L.P. Price also netted. S. Greenaway and A. Jansen scored for the Polytechnic, who were well served in goal by R. Look. This success brings to the Child's-hill enclosure tomorrow (Saturday) the noted Green and Silley Weir F.C., a big works team with a fine reputation, and a win will bring to the home ground in the next round Barnet F.C., and thus create a "local Derby."
