Hampstead [Town] scored a fine treble event over the holidays, winning both their Athenian League games with Barnet and Luton Clarence, and also their London Senior Cup tie with Kingstonians, the latter before a record holiday crowd. In these three games over 10,000 people visited the Avenue ground, and every match proved a stern and interesting encounter.
Their League successes place them third on the table, with two games in hand over the leaders, Metrogas. Hampstead have lost only three games this season so far, and have won their last four League matches with only one goal scored against them. In their Amateur Cup matches they have scored sixteen goals to five against, and in the London Senior Cup sixteen goals to none against, and it is proving a record season in all respects for the club.
Luton Clarence could not respond to the two goals registered by C. Wise and R. Kirby.
