Hampstead [Town] tried hard at Windsor to break their losing sequence, but without success, and they suffered defeat in a very even and enjoyable game by one goal to none. C.B. Evans kept goal remarkably well, but had more to do than the home custodian, as, despite the introduction of a new and promising centre-forward in H. Sumners, Hampstead's shooting was again unsatisfactory.

Windsor and Eton have thus obtained four Athenian League points at the expense of Hampstead, who have now lost six games in the competition.
