Hampstead Town and Waterlow's decided their replayed F.A. Cup-tie at Cricklewood-lane yesterday, and a gruelling game ended in a win for Hampstead by 4 goals to 1. Both teams had an undefeated record. From the outset it was obvious that the heavy state of the ground would affect the printers from Dunstable, and by the end they were thoroughly tired. Within five minutes Young placed Hampstead one up. The same player before half-time had the satisfaction of performing the hat-trick, and the teams crossed over with Hampstead leading by three goals. In the second half Hampstead again had more of the play, but the forwards did not shine. Wise, however, netted amid cheers. From a breakaway on Waterlow's right wing Goodwin was beaten through Conquest, at inside-left, who headed into the net. Time after time Barnes, Hampstead's centre-half, earned the applause of the spectators by the manner in which he intercepted the ball, while Goodwin was, as usual, safe in goal.
