Hampstead visited the Walthamstow Avenue ground for their outstanding Athenian League match with Leyton, but unfortunately had to take the field minus five of their regular side, while Leyton were at full strength. Both sides played with ten men the greater part of the game owing to injuries to Shearcroft and Smith (Leyton).

Scorers for Leyton [, who won 5-0,] were Hall (2), Ives, Collins and Hawkings.

Hampstead, however, have secured second place in the Athenian League, being runners-up to Leyton.
