On Easter Monday Golders Green were defeated by Southall in the Middlesex Senior Cup Final at Wealdstone. The score was 3-1, the Green's goal being scored by Cochrane. They had none of the luck, and a knee injury to Stroud after ten minutes of the second half completely incapacitated him. He remained on the field, but could take practically no part in the play.
