We took over the leadership of the Isthmian League following our fine 2-0 win at Bromley. It is tough at the top, but the boys say that they will do their level best to try and stay up there.

We were partly aided by Oxford City who did a magnificent job the previous evening to stop challengers Wimbledon in their tracks with an excellent 3-1 victory at the White Horse ground. Our scorers at Bromley were Peter Slade and Jimmy Quail.
