Roy Walker chipped a bone in one of his big toes during the first half of the game at Wycombe Wanderers. Despite intense pain he carried on to the bitter end, though scarcely more than a passenger on the wing.

He has the injury in plaster and is expected to the out of action for at least a month.

Though handicapped, we managed to pull off a fine 4-0 victory with goals from Tony Knox, Gerry O'Rourke and David Hyde (2)
