The lads completed their eighth double of the season last Wednesday in beating visiting Leytonstone 5-1.

It was an excellent, clean game, with hardly a foul throughout the 90 minutes.

Peter Flann and Arthur Peel managed to make the senior score sheet for the first time this season. The other scorers were David Hyde and Tony Knox, and an own goal from Leytonstone defender L. Wilkinson. But what a surprise, Tony Knox missed a penalty for the first time this season.
