The London Senior Cup game with Wealdstone was another cut and thrust affair, with both sides playing some good football in the treacherous conditions.
We started very well and when Peter Howard opened the scoring after a shot from David Swain had hit the upright, it looked as if we would run away with the game.
Then a defensive slip let in Hugh Lindsay for the equaliser, and Wealdstone came more into the game.
However, Laurie Churchill scored his customary goal to enable us to cross over with a 2-1 lead.
The second half favoured the visitors, who scored late in the game, Lindsay fastening on to a free kick from way out on the left to chip the ball back for Wortley to force a replay.
