Match Report

Hendon continued their Bucks Examiner Trophy day with a comfortable 2-0 win over Hemel Hempstead Town. There were ten changes from the line up that beat Amersham Town earlier in the day, Kevin Maclaren the only player to play in both games.

The Greens took an even earlier lead than in the Amersham game when Chris Bangura was fouled in the penalty area in the 3rd minute. The referee immediately pointed to the spot, and Brian Haule stepped up to convert the penalty clinically.

The rest of the game was a tight affair, with the defences largely on top until the final minute when Haule scored his second of the game to secure the win for the Greens.
