Hendon and overnight leaders Hastings United drew 0-0 at Vale Farm this afternoon in a tightly fought game. The visitors had the better of the exchanges in the first half, with Anthony Storey forcing Berkley Laurencin into an excellent save from a long range strike.
The second half saw the Greens reduced to ten men after Kevin Maclaren was cautioned twice in three minutes, the second of which appearing to be very harsh. However, the ten men nearly won the game but Michael Peacock saw his header well saved by Clark Masters.
