The first team will be looking to build on Tuesday night's win as they entertain early pacesetters Hastings United at Vale Farm tomorrow afternoon. The Sussex side have hit the top of the table as the only side to win their opening two games, beating Wealdstone 2-0 last weekend, before winning 4-2 at Maidstone United on Tuesday.
The goalscorers for Hastings on Saturday were Sean Ray and Kenny Pogue, whilst a brace from Ade Olorunda, and goals from Sam Adams and Pogue gave them the goals on Tuesday.
Last season, Hastings completed the double over the Greens, winning 2-1 at Pilot Field in October, Olorunda and Lee Carey on target for Hastings, and Yacine Hamada for Hendon, whilst a brace from Ross Treleaven and a strike from Tyrone Sterling earnt them a 3-1 win at Vale Farm in April, with Casey Maclaren scoring the consolation.
Supporters from both teams that are travelling by car are advised to allow additional travelling time due to the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final that is taking place at Wembley Stadium tomorrow afternoon. The good news is that all train and tube lines are operating a normal service, and there are no line closures that are likely to affect your journey to Vale Farm.
