Tomorrow evening sees our first ever fixture against Concord Rangers, following their promotion from Division One North last season.
Concord, who were promoted via the play-offs, opened their Premier Division campaign with a creditable 0-0 draw against one of the title favourites, Sutton United on Saturday afternoon.
Our opponents squad includes Brad Thomas, who has joined them on loan from Braintree Town, and Kayan Kalipha, who spent a month on loan with us a couple of years ago. The biggest name in the Concord squad is Bertie Brayley, a striker who has been at a number of clubs in recent years, including Chelmsford City.
Meanwhile, Gary McCann will be keen to ensure that our squad tighten up defensively following the defeat at Tooting on Saturday, whilst continuing the positive attacking play that contributed to the three goals we scored.
Tomorrow's game at Vale Farm kicks off at the usual time of 7.45pm, the clubhouse will be open from 6pm and the turnstiles will open around 7pm.
