Hendon FC will be supporting "Non-League Day" on Saturday 4th September, by offering reduced entry of £5.00 to season ticket holders from any club with the exception of that day's opponents, Carshalton Athletic.
Due to there being no Premier League or Championship fixtures as a result of the England v Bulgaria friendly the night before, QPR supporter James Doe has set up an an initiative to persuade football supporters who normally only watch top flight football to go and watch their local non-league side instead.
We are all well aware about the importance of getting more supporters through the turnstiles, so this is an ideal opportunity to invite your friends and family along to get a taste of watching Hendon.
They may be season ticket holders elsewhere, or they may be among the many who spend their Saturday afternoons sat in the pub or on the sofa watching Soccer Saturday, Final Score and the various live games being shown on TV. The only televised game on 4th September is a League Two encounter between MK Dons and Hartlepool.
Please encourage your friends and family to come along, and hopefully they will like what they see, and will be keen to come back in the future.
