Matchday help appeal

As we approach the new season, the club is looking to increase our small pool of dedicated matchday helpers further. As many of you will have noticed last season, some new faces have stepped in to help with matchday duties, giving us the opportunity to allow some of our long-time volunteers the opportunity to take a break every now and then.

However, we are still on occasion being caught short and either struggling to put on a matchday, or relying on the few who still do put in the work every week for the club to stage a game. Understandably, when the same people have to do the same things every week, enthusiasm drains and the last thing we can afford is to lose their valuable efforts through relying too heavily on them.

The majority of matchday jobs mean missing very little, if any, of the game - indeed for some, watching the football is a pre-requisite - and you will get free entry whenever you do help as a thank you.

If you are able to help out, even just once or twice a season to give a regular volunteer a break, please get in touch with John Rogers via his email address (johnrogers070@gmail.com) or at matchdays, or if he's not available, please speak to any other Trust board member to let us know what you can do.
