Hendon encountered mixed fortunes this week in their two away fixtures in Surrey.
Saturday saw them overcome Egham Town 2-1 in torrential rain. Sam Shaban opened the scoring for the Greens before the Sarnies equalised on the stroke of half-time. Substitute Brad Dixon-Smith grabbed the winner in the 93rd minute to secure a deserved three points.
However, it was a different story altogether at Met Police on Tuesday night where the hosts overcame the concession of an early goal to win 5-1.
Shaban continued his excellent form in front of goal with an early opener, but once Met equalised shortly afterwards, there was only going to be one winner as they cut the Greens' defence to ribbons with a clinical performance.
Focus now shifts to Saturday's visit of Hartley Wintney at SJP, kick off at 3pm.
