Hendon picked up a second consecutive away league win last night as a bitterly cold SkyEx Stadium, beating fellow strugglers Southall 4-1.

Sam Shaban opened the scoring on 5 minutes, turning home Florian Ada's low cross from close range to give the Greens the half-time advantage.

A sluggish start to the second period was punished when Dan Roberts was played through and he made no mistake with a good finish to level things up.

Just as Greens fans were beginning to expect the worst, Florian Ada ran onto Niko Muir's adroit through ball to give regain the lead on the hour mark, and two minutes later he followed up to make it 3-1 after Shaban had a shot well saved.

Niko Muir completed the scoring from the penalty spot with 7 minutes remaining after which Southall skipper, and former Hendon defender Aziz Alabi was sent off for a second yellow card following an act of the dissent.

The win takes Hendon up to 16th in the table ahead of Saturday's visit to Egham Town.
